Returns & Exchanges Policy

Our Philosophy: Your Journey is Our Priority

At TravelinJava, we want every aspect of your experience with us to be satisfying, including after your chosen ‘artifact’ arrives. We understand that sometimes, an item may not be exactly what you expected. Therefore, we provide a clear and fair return and exchange process, because your satisfaction is a continuation of our journey together.

Eligibility for a Return

To be eligible for a return, please ensure the following conditions are met:

  • The return request is submitted within 14 days from the date the item was received.
  • The item must be in the same condition that you received it: unworn or unused, unwashed, with all original tags attached, and in its original packaging.
  • You must provide proof of purchase or the order number.

How to Start a Return

To initiate a return, please contact our concierge team via email first.

  1. Send an email to halo@store.travelinjava.com with the subject line “Return Request – [Your Order Number]”.
  2. In the email, please specify which item(s) you wish to return and the reason.
  3. Our team will review your request and, if approved, will provide further instructions regarding the return shipping address.

Please note: Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Shipping costs for returning an item are the responsibility of the customer.

Refunds

Once we’ve received and inspected your returned item, we will send you an email to notify you. We will also inform you if your refund was approved or rejected.

If approved, your refund will be automatically processed to your original payment method within 5-10 business days. Please remember it can take some additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund as well.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get the item you want is to follow the return process for the existing item, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Non-Returnable Items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, including:

  • Perishable goods (such as food or flowers).
  • Digital products (such as software or e-books).
  • Personal care and health products (such as opened items from our The Apothecary collection).
  • Items purchased during a major sale or marked as final sale.
  • Gift Cards.
